You'll oversee financial operations and performance across Hanston's properties — Hanston Building, Hanston Square, and The North Bank — helping drive growth, efficiency, and long-term value creation for the group.

  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes across consolidated and entity-level P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.

  • Work directly with the CEO to provide financial insights that guide operational and investment decisions.

  • Coordinate monthly with division heads to update rolling forecasts, keeping financial plans aligned with business realities.

  • Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to leadership.

  • Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and management reports across all entities.

  • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory reporting requirements.

  • Lead or coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, regulators, and financial institutions as needed.

  • Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and financing arrangements.

  • Oversee working capital management and recommend improvements to cash conversion cycles.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Build and maintain financial models to support business planning, investment evaluation, and scenario analysis.

  • Conduct variance and trend analyses to identify emerging risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.

  • Work with IT to develop dashboards and reports that improve financial visibility for leadership.

  • Partner with the CEO and project teams to ensure financial discipline in acquisitions, developments, and capital expenditures.

  • Support initiatives that drive profitability, efficiency, and long-term sustainability.

What sets people apart here is how they bring those fundamentals into a room with leadership — clearly, honestly, and with the discipline to hold a position even when it's not the easy answer. You'll do well here if you:

  • Communicate directly — you give clear, honest recommendations, ask when something isn't clear, and hold your ground in executive conversations without deflecting.

  • Work with integrity — you apply financial discipline consistently, even under pressure to make a deal or a number look better than it is.

HR Generalist

Human Resources Department

ABOUT THE JOB

The HR Generalist supports the full range of HR operations at Hanston — from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and labor law compliance. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, this role is the operational backbone of the HR function: keeping records accurate, processes running, and employees supported through the day-to-day moments that matter.

This is a role for someone who understands that good HR work is mostly invisible when it's done well — and who takes quiet satisfaction in that.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end hiring activities: posting job openings, screening applicants, coordinating interviews with hiring managers, and conducting initial interviews.

  • Support the onboarding of new employees, ensuring they are properly oriented and set up from day one.

Payroll & Benefits

  • Coordinate payroll processing and assist in resolving payroll-related concerns accurately and on time.

  • Administer employee benefits programs — healthcare, leave, statutory benefits, and others — and respond to employee questions about their entitlements.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for employee concerns, handling them with professionalism and appropriate confidentiality.

  • Implement HR policies and procedures consistently across the organization.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, government statutory requirements, and internal guidelines — and flag issues early when something isn't right.

Records & Systems

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, documentation, and HR databases.

  • Uphold data integrity across HR files and systems, supporting audits and reporting as needed.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience across core HR functions — recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and benefits administration.

  • Working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and government statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE compliance).

  • Strong attention to detail, especially in documentation and record-keeping.

  • Clear, direct communicator — comfortable handling sensitive conversations with professionalism.

Preferred

  • Experience using an HRIS or HR information system.

  • Exposure to a multi-site or multi-department setup.

WHO THRIVES AT HANSTON

  • Take ownership — you follow through on commitments, manage your own workload, and flag issues before they become problems.

  • Communicate directly — you give clear, honest information, ask when something isn't clear, and handle difficult conversations without deflecting.

  • Work with integrity — you treat employee information with discretion and apply policies fairly, even when it's easier not to.

  • Grow with the work — you treat feedback as useful input, stay current on employment law and HR practice, and look for ways to improve how things are done.
